Short version: if the report was not worth $19 to you, say so and get your money back. We would rather refund you than argue.
Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no explanation required. Email hello@whathitmyhouse.com with the address you looked up and we will refund the whole amount. You do not have to justify it and we will not ask you to.
You keep the report. Asking you to unread a document would be theatre.
If the document fails to build, comes out incomplete, or contains an error about your address or the dates, that is our defect. Tell us and you get the corrected report and a refund, not a choice between them.
If your link stops working, that is also our defect. The link you land on after paying is what opens your document. It stays valid and rebuilds the document each time. If it ever refuses, email us the link and we will send you the report or refund you, whichever you would rather have.
Invoiced after the lead is delivered. You are never charged in advance and there is no contract or monthly minimum.
Replacement guarantee. If the homeowner cannot be reached after genuine attempts, or the lead turns out to be invalid, tell us and we replace it or credit the invoice. Your choice, not ours. We ask only that you have actually tried to make contact.
What the guarantee does not cover: a homeowner who is reachable and simply decides not to hire you, or an inspection that finds no damage. We sell a person who asked for an inspection. We cannot sell you a sale, and any lead vendor who claims otherwise is lying to you.
There is nothing to cancel. We run no subscriptions, no memberships, and no recurring charges of any kind. Every purchase on this site is a single transaction.
Contractors receiving leads can stop at any time by replying to any email or writing to hello@whathitmyhouse.com. There is no notice period and no exit fee, because there is no agreement to exit.
If we ever introduce a recurring product, this section gets rewritten before it goes on sale, not after.
We approve refund requests as we read them, usually the same day. Once approved, the money goes back through the card network, which typically takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. That last part is the bank's timing and outside our control.
Please email us first. Not because a chargeback hurts us, though it does, but because we will almost certainly just refund you and it will be faster than your bank's process.
Email hello@whathitmyhouse.com. That address is read by the person who runs this site, not a ticket queue, and it is the fastest way to get anything fixed.
